# Cut+Dry pricing

Cut+Dry publishes no price. Its pricing page carries two plan names and a list of what the fee is not, but not one figure in any currency, so the only route to a number is a sales call. [Flat-fee wholesale ordering software](https://wholesalehandler.com/articles/flat-fee-wholesale-ordering-software) sets the vendors that do publish a figure side by side.

By **[Dan Edwards](https://wholesalehandler.com/about)**, Founder.

Cut+Dry sells an eCommerce platform to US foodservice distributors: a branded storefront, sales rep tools, delivery routing and AI order capture from emails, texts and voicemails. It is priced by quote, and the quote depends on scale, so a buyer comparing it against anything with a published figure is comparing against a blank.

## Cut+Dry's pricing page names two plans and no figure

The page is headed "Simple, predictable pricing for distributors" and promises "no hidden fees, no percentage-based order charges, and no surprise add-ons". Its plan table has a row for every term except the amount.

| Included | Standard | Enterprise |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Users | Unlimited | \- |
| Customers | Unlimited | \- |
| Order fee | 0% | \- |
| Support | Dedicated | \- |
| Workflows | \- | Custom |
| Integrations | \- | Custom |
| Additional fees | None | \- |

Cut+Dry states that every plan carries the full feature set and that "pricing adjusts based on your scale and needs", so the two names describe who gets custom workflows rather than a feature ladder. What moves a distributor from Standard to Enterprise is a question for the sales call, and so is everything about the amount. The three buttons on the page are Request Pricing Overview, Get a Quote and Book a Demo.

## US$349 in one directory is not Cut+Dry's price

Capterra's US listing shows a starting price of US$349 as a flat rate, one time. Two things rule it out. Cut+Dry's own service terms bill monthly subscription fees in advance of each month, which is not a one-time flat rate in any reading. And Capterra's other national editions carry no figure at all, where a vendor-supplied price would appear in every edition. The number reads as a comparison widget's figure for a different product.

Every other directory is the same blank. G2 shows no pricing, Software Advice says to connect with an advisor, GetApp has nothing from the vendor.

## Cut+Dry takes no cut of order value

The 0% order fee is Cut+Dry's own current claim, stated twice on its pricing page, and it covers per-user charges too: order volume does not raise the bill, and nor does headcount. That removes the percentage-fee question that applies to much of this market, and it is the same position [Orderlion pricing](https://wholesalehandler.com/articles/orderlion-pricing) describes for Orderlion.

One carve-out sits in the service terms rather than on the pricing page. Pay+, Cut+Dry's payment service, remits a distributor's sales proceeds after deducting a "Transaction Fee", and section 4 of the terms anticipates fees "based on a percentage fee or subject to card processing fees" on that service. So 0% governs order value on the ordering platform, and taking card payment through Cut+Dry carries a rate that appears in the signed Order and nowhere public.

## The service terms commit a distributor for three years at a time

The cost facts Cut+Dry does publish sit in the service terms rather than on the pricing page.

- The subscription period is "noncancelable" unless the Order says otherwise.
- Unless the Order says otherwise, the term auto-renews in "successive thirty-six (36) month periods".
- Stopping a renewal takes written notice at least 90 days before the end of the current term.
- Set-up fees exist, payable within 15 days of invoice. The amount is in the Order.
- Monthly subscription fees fall due no later than 15 days _before_ the month they cover.
- Late payment accrues interest at 1.5% a month, or the legal maximum where that is lower.

Yes Chef, the AI prospecting product, is sold separately again: a Starter, Growth or Enterprise tier, each with a fixed monthly fee and a monthly credit allotment. Credits do not carry over, and usage above the allotment is billed as overage at a per-tier rate.

## Launch takes 45 to 100 days

Cut+Dry gives the average time to launch as 45 to 100 days, varying by ERP and complexity. That window is what the product is: an implementation project against a distributor's existing systems, not a signup.

## Where Wholesale Handler fits against Cut+Dry

Wholesale Handler's figures are on its pricing page, and a reader comparing the two can have one side of the comparison without a sales call.

| Wholesale Handler plan | Price |
| --- | --- |
| Up to 3 customers | Free, and no card to start |
| Up to 10 customers | US$29/month |
| Up to 50 customers | US$109/month |

There is no set-up fee, no per-user charge and no contract, and the whole app is usable before signing up, on a demo account already stocked with products, customers, orders and invoices.

The two are not sold to the same buyer. Cut+Dry fits a distributor with an ERP, a sales rep team, a delivery fleet and the appetite for a three-year commitment. Wholesale Handler is a flat monthly fee for a small producer taking wholesale orders from shops, cafes and restaurants: 500 products at the top plan, unlimited orders and invoices, no ERP in the picture and nothing to integrate. It has no route optimisation, no driver app, no proof-of-delivery capture and no AI order capture, all of which Cut+Dry carries.

## Q&A

**Q: Does Cut+Dry offer a free trial?**
A: Not on its own pricing page, which offers a quote request and a booked demo and nothing a distributor can start unaccompanied. Cut+Dry begins with a sales conversation rather than a signup.

**Q: Is Cut+Dry free for the restaurants ordering from a distributor?**
A: Yes. Cut+Dry states that restaurants order digitally at no cost and describes the buyer side as free forever. The whole cost sits with the distributor.

**Q: Does Cut+Dry replace a distributor's ERP?**
A: No. It sits in front of one. Cut+Dry integrates with existing ERP and distribution software and routes captured orders into it, which is why its own launch estimate is given as varying by ERP.
