Wholesale Handler
The floor is money, not units
There is no minimum quantity and no case size in Wholesale Handler. The only floor is a subtotal, so the loaf count that clears it moves with trade prices. At $2.80 a loaf a $60 minimum is 22 loaves; after a price rise to $3.10 it is 20. The setting does not change, and the unit count is not stored anywhere.
It sits on the order profile
In Wholesale Handler minimum spend is one field on an order profile, next to delivery days, the ordering cutoff and lead time. Each customer is assigned exactly one profile, so the minimum arrives with the rest of their ordering rules rather than being set account by account.
That is what makes two floors possible. Cafes taking a small drop three mornings a week and shops taking one larger delivery are two different shapes of account, and they can sit on two profiles with two figures. Profiles are capped at 20, and changing one moves every customer on it.
What the customer sees
Under the order total Wholesale Handler shows a bar reading $40.00 of $60.00 minimum, filling as items go in. Below the figure, Place order is disabled. The order cannot be submitted and does not reach the bakery.
The figure is copied onto each order
When an order is placed, Wholesale Handler stores the minimum that applied on the order itself. Raising the profile's figure later does not reach back into orders already taken, and an order placed under the old floor stays valid.
A standing order under the floor is held, not placed
Wholesale Handler re-prices a standing order at the cutoff for each delivery, so a schedule set up above the minimum can fall under it later - a cafe trims its Tuesday count, or a line goes out of season and drops off. When the recomputed subtotal lands below, no order is created. The schedule flips to Needs attention carrying both figures, and the customer and the merchant are both emailed.
Each Wholesale Handler schedule also carries an allow-below-minimum setting. Turning it on lets that one cafe keep a permanent slot under the floor without lowering it for anyone else.
Placing one yourself
The minimum applies to what customers submit, not to what the bakery enters. On the Wholesale Handler merchant order form it switches between Enforce and Allow below for that order alone. The customer's own ordering is unaffected.
