Unleashed pricing for small wholesalers

Unleashed publishes its prices, which most of the category does not. In US dollars the plans are Lite at $99 a month, Core at $399 and Pro at $729, each including three users (five on Pro) and 100 sales orders a month. The piece that lets wholesale customers place their own orders is the B2B eCommerce Store, a $129 a month module, and Lite cannot take it - so the cheapest Unleashed configuration with a customer ordering portal in it is Core plus that module, $528 a month before extra users, extra orders, support or onboarding.

Unleashed's published plans

Three plans, each a flat base fee with seats included rather than a per-seat rate. Annual billing takes up to 10% off.

A fourth user is $69 a month on Lite and Core, $89 on Pro. An extra integration is $39 a month. All prices are in US dollars and exclude tax, and Unleashed bills in New Zealand dollars, Australian dollars, US dollars or pounds sterling.

Two comparison directories are behind the live list. Capterra shows only Core and Pro, so Lite is invisible there. Software Advice, on a page stamped July 2026, still describes Medium, Large and Large Plus tiers at $380, $710 and $1,080. Unleashed's own pricing page is the current one.

The ordering portal is a module Lite cannot take

Every Unleashed plan handles sales orders keyed in by staff. Customers placing their own orders is the B2B eCommerce Store, sold separately at $129 a month, and it is listed as optional with Core and Pro only. That single restriction is what decides the bill for a small producer, because the entry price stops being $99 and becomes $528.

The other modules follow the same pattern - free on Pro, an extra line on Core, unavailable on Lite.

Wholesale customer portal covers what the portal itself has to do once a producer has one.

The sales order allowance binds before the seat count

Each plan carries the same allowance of 100 sales orders a month regardless of price. A producer delivering to 30 accounts twice a week files around 240 orders a month, which is well over twice the allowance on every tier including the $729 one. Going over is not blocked. Unleashed applies the additional allocation to the following months, so the cost lands later rather than the orders stopping.

Support and onboarding are charged separately

Support has its own subscription. The default Essential plan is two support users, the knowledge base and Unleashed University with no live channel. Standard at $99 a month adds live chat, phone support, a two-hour response target and four support users. Premier is $239 a month on an annual commitment and adds a dedicated success manager.

Onboarding is a one-off fee at three levels - $449 self-service, $799 standard, $5,549 full.

There is a 14-day free trial with all features enabled and no card required.

What a small producer actually pays

Take a producer with 30 wholesale accounts ordering twice a week, three people who need a sign-in, and one person who wants to reach support by phone.

  1. Core, $399 - Lite cannot carry the ordering module
  2. B2B eCommerce Store, $129
  3. The 500-order pack, $70 - the included 100 covers about twelve days of the volume
  4. Standard support, $99

That is $697 a month, or $8,364 a year, plus $449 at minimum to get onboarded. Drop support and it is $598 a month. Add a fourth and fifth sign-in and it is $835 a month, $10,020 a year. Why is wholesale software so expensive covers where the rest of the category puts its money.

Unleashed is an inventory system with a store attached

What a producer buys at that price is stock control, purchasing, warehouse handling and manufacturing, with the order form as one module on the side. That is the right purchase if inventory is the problem - if stock levels are wrong, purchase orders are late, or a bill of materials has to hold. It is a large purchase if the actual problem is that customers phone, text and message their orders in, and someone copies them into a spreadsheet. Wholesale ordering software without ERP integration covers the split between those two jobs.

What Wholesale Handler does not do

No purchasing or supplier orders, no bills of materials, no assemblies or manufacturing, no multiple warehouses or bin locations, no stock valuation or landed cost, no demand forecasting. Wholesale Handler tracks an optional stock quantity per product and emails customers when something is back, and that is the whole of its stock handling. A producer who needs the inventory side needs an inventory system.

What it does is the ordering half - a portal where customers order 24/7, standing orders on a weekly to four-weekly cadence, per-customer price lists, order profiles carrying delivery days, cutoffs, delivery charges and minimum spend, a production schedule generated from the incoming orders, PDF packing slips and invoices, payment tracking and a CSV export for accounting.

Wholesale Handler is a flat monthly fee

A flat monthly price. No per-user charge, no per-order or per-transaction fee, no commission on order value, no separate module to make the ordering portal appear, no paid support tier and no onboarding fee. It is free up to 3 customers, and there is a working demo, with no signup and no card.

Against the $697 example above, that is $1,308 a year rather than $8,364. The comparison is not like for like and is not meant to be - one of the two is an inventory system. Flat-fee wholesale ordering software covers what a flat fee does and does not buy.
